scorpion3This is a refined and highly purified preparation containing the F(ab’)2 fraction of the immunoglobulins raised against scorpion venoms. The antivenom is prepared by hyperimmunizing healthy Arabian horses using gradually increasing doses of local scorpion venoms and immunomodulators

The polyvalent scorpion antivenoms are highly specific in neutralizing the venoms of the yellow scorpions (Leiurus quinquestriatus), black scorpion (Androctonus crassicauda), and a variety of other local scorpions. The antivenom also has a wide spectrum of activity and can neutralize the venoms of many of the Middle East and North African scorpions including Buthus arenicola, Butus mimax, Buthus occitanus, Leiurus quinquestriatus hebreus, and A. amoreuxi.

The NAVPC polyvalent snake antivenom is a refined and highly purified preparation containing the F(ab’)2 fractions of the immunoglobulins raised against the venoms of six terresterial Saudi snakes.

snake4The antivenom is prepared by hyperimmunizing healthy Arabian horses using gradually increasing dose of local snakes venoms from Bitis arietans, Echis coloratus, Echis carinatus, Naja haje, Cerastes cerastes, Walterinesia aegyptia, and immunomodulators.

The polyvalent snake antivenom is highly specific in neutralizing the toxic effects of the six Saudi snake venoms such as Bitis arietans, Cerastes cerastes, Echis carinatus, Echis coloratus, Naja haje, and Walterinnesia aegyptia. The antivenom has a wide spectrum of activity and can neutralize the venom of many of the Middle East and North African snakes including Bitis caudalis, Bitis gabonica, Naja melanolleuca, Naja naja and Naja nigricollis. The antivenom also neutralizes effectively the haemorrhagic and myonecrotic activities of the mentioned viper snake venoms and the neuromuscular blocking and cardiotoxic effects of the mentioned elapid snake venoms.

Bivalant Snake Antivenom

snake The NAVPC Naja/Walterinnesia bivalent snake antivenom is a refined and highly purified preparation containing the F(ab’)2 fractions of the immunoglobulins raised against the venoms of the Arabian cobra (Naja haje arabicus) and the black desert cobra (Walterinnesia aegyptia).The antivenom is prepared by hyperimmunizing healthy Arabian horses using gradually increasing doses of Naja haje arabicus and Walterinnesia aegyptia and immunomodulators. The bivalent antivenom is highly specific in neutralizing the toxic effects of the two Saudi cobra venoms. It was also shown to effectively neutralize the neurotoxins in both venoms, and the cardiotoxins in N. haje venom. The antivenom has a wide spectrum of activity and can neutralize the venoms of other Elapid snakes including Egyptian cobra (Naja haje), Forest cobra (N. melanoleuca), Indian cobra ( N. naja), Black necked cobra (N. nigricollis), and Cape cobra (N. nivea).
